Permissions
What is permissions?
Permissions is a set of actions a user is allowed to perform within pharmacy software
In a pharmacy, different personnel perform different functions, so it is important to have software that provides different levels of permissions:
- the cashier should have access only to the point of sale
- the pharmacy manager to purchasing and inventory management
- the owner / CEO to all functionality and reporting.
When it comes to a pharmacy chain, it is vital to have different permissions for different pharmacies.

How permissions work in Intaia pharmacy software
In Intaila pharmacy software, you can configure permissions for employees to match your business processes. There are 4 levels of access:
- to an individual Pharmacy
- to a Legal entity within the chain
- to a Sector (group of pharmacies, e.g. Retail pharmacies or Hospital pharmacies)
- to the entire Chain
Thus, a specific employee can have access to the Stock section of the entire chain and at the same time to the Point of Sale of only a specific pharmacy.
How to set up permissions in Intaila
If you are a pharmacy owner or CEO, you will be able to manage permissions in your pharmacy or pharmacy chain.

- A list of accesses with descriptions will appear below. Select the desired permissions
- Click the green SAVE button.
- Ask the employee to re-login to the pharmacy software: refresh the page and log in to the program again.
